I thank Senator Leahy for yielding time. It is important that we work through the process so we can get several Georgia judges to the floor of the Senate for a vote. We have some emergency positions that need to be filled, and Senator Leahy has been very cooperative in helping us do that. On behalf of my colleague Senator Isakson and myself, I encourage all of my colleagues to support the nomination of Leigh May to be a judge for the District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Ms. May is a graduate of our two flagship institutions--Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia Law School. She practiced law with the Butler Wooten firm for many years and has been involved in many high- profile cases. She brings intellect and integrity to the bench. She will be a great addition to the Northern District of Georgia, and I encourage my colleagues to vote in support of this nominee. I thank the Presiding Officer and yield back. I ask for the yeas and nays. The PRESIDING OFFICER (Ms. Hirono). Is there a sufficient second? There is a sufficient second. The question is, Will the Senate advise and consent to the nomination of Leigh Martin May, of Georgia, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia? The clerk will call the roll. The assistant legislative clerk called the roll.
