PROTECTIONS FOR ELDERLY, DISABLED, AND MILITARY VOTERS. Notwithstanding any provision of this Act or any amendment made by this Act, to the extent that the Election Assistance Commission is responsible for the administration or enforcement of any of the following provisions of law as of the Commission termination date described in section 1004(a) of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (as added by section 201(a)), any successor to the Commission shall remain responsible for the administration or enforcement of such provisions after such date: (1) Any provision of law relating to the rights of the elderly to vote and cast ballots in elections for Federal office. (2) Any provision of law relating to the rights of the elderly and other individuals who are registered to vote in elections for Federal office to obtain absentee ballots in such elections. (3) Any provision of law relating to the access of the elderly, the disabled, and other individuals to polling places in elections for Federal office, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.…
