To tell my friend from Connecticut how much I appreciate his comments. You don't solve big issues by fussing at each other on TV. You solve big issues by sitting down with each other and talking about them. I appreciate the gentleman's accepting the Speaker's invitation. It was an earnest effort to try to find a pathway forward. I am proud to serve in a House that is led by someone who is committed to finding pathways forward and to doing them in the collaborative way that the gentleman from Connecticut described. Mr. Speaker, I reserve the balance of my time.
