I thank the Transportation Appropriations chair and ranking member for their willingness to work with us on this issue and for their leadership in crafting a bill that increases transportation funding across the entire country. I also thank my colleagues from Maryland and Senator Warner for their continued representation and leadership for the people of the region and America. We look forward to completing the much-needed Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge replacement and closing the debate on the bill permanently.
