We are trying to break the link, because as the Supreme Court has said on several occasions, we can, this Congress can enact reform in order to prevent appearance of corruption or corruption. What the Court has also said in another case is that it is because of the risk that corporations that accumulate wealth in the course of their business activities, because of the risk, that those corporations, big money in this society, could unduly influence elections. The Court has said it is appropriate to regulate or to bar contributions from corporations.
