I have an amendment at the desk. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of division F (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. The total amount of appropriations made available by this Act is hereby reduced by 5 percent. The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to House Resolution 1067, the gentleman from Georgia (Mr. Allen) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Georgia.
