The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle C of title V, add the following new section: SEC. 5__. ELIMINATION OF MAXIMUM AGE LIMITATION FOR ORIGINAL ENLISTMENTS IN THE ARMED FORCES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE OTHERWISE QUALIFIED FOR ENLISTMENT. Section 505(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking ``nor more than forty-two years of age''. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 661, the gentleman from Georgia (Mr. Broun) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Georgia.
