This, like many amendments I'm offering tonight, would freeze spending at the FY12 levels. We've just got to stop spending money we don't have, Madam Chairman. I recommend adoption of my amendment, and I yield back the balance of my time.

I find that reprehensible. I think all four have just steadily degraded our intel communities, as well.

This is likely my last time chairing this Subcommittee on Oversight for a hearing, and I would like to thank my friends on both sides of the aisle.
How can this primary research and development arm not have any idea of the total amount of taxpayer money being invested on technology to detect, prevent, and mitigate threats to our Nation?
