Mr. Speaker, just in closing, again, it is good to be with my friend down here. Also, the bill that Mr. Pittenger is bringing forward is also commonsense legislation I think that strengthens their home, strengthens their family, and addresses an issue such as child abuse and the real consequences the Davenport family are finding, but not just them, but many across our country. With that, I urge all my colleagues to support this legislation, and I yield back the balance of my time. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from Georgia (Mr. Collins) that the House suspend the rules and pass the bill, H.R. 3627. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the bill was passed. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
