It is unfortunate that this Congress has to sit down and construct a law to protect a legal industry from acting legally in every State in the Nation. For those who want to just get rid of guns, do it the right way: Propose to put a repeal of the second amendment on the floor and vote it up or down. There was a reason that our Founding Fathers fashioned the second amendment. It was for people to be able to protect themselves, in some instances, from their government. But instead of doing it the honest way, we pick around the edges.
