Each investment is tied to a concrete improvement Veterans will notice: shorter waits, better coordination, and more consistent access to both VA and community care.

I think we’re making massive progress in how we diagnose things, but also how we do new treatments, which in the past was more of a wait-and-see approach, and now we’re being more cutting-edge.

We’re not going to balance budgets on the back of veterans’ benefits.
