Agriculture is extremely important to our rural communities, but it is important to urban communities as well.

It is clear that we need to come together, Republicans and Democrats, on a farm bill that strengthens the farm safety net, and we are going to do it together.

If there are Members on the other side of the aisle that truly want to see a farm bill come to fruition this year, my door remains open to negotiation from any partner willing to come to the table with a serious proposal, not more red…

It is my hope that our farm bill will take all of this into consideration.
