David Scott: “We have a severe opiate crisis throughout our community.”

My feeling is Speaker Johnson will not bring this bill to the floor for a vote because it was not written as a serious bill.

It is clear that we need to come together, Republicans and Democrats, on a farm bill that strengthens the farm safety net, and we are going to do it together.

We are not going to have nutrition if we don't have farmers.

It is my hope that our farm bill will take all of this into consideration.
