As long as I’m governor, Georgia will not follow in the steps of Washington, D.C. where too many politicians refuse to make the tough decisions necessary to keep spending in check.

Gov. Brian Kemp has committed to supply whatever resources are necessary to ensure public safety on the system for the next few weeks, including National Guard troops if requested.

Along with our partners in the legislature, we've remained committed to giving hardworking Georgians relief wherever able, and this action is another fulfillment of that promise.
