After the November election last year, I knew, like so many of you, that significant reforms to our state elections were needed. There is no doubt there were many alarming issues with how the election was handled. And those problems understandably led to the crisis of confidence in the ballot box.
When you look at the word, use the word like, suppression and Jim Crow 2.0 in regards to this bill, that`s ridiculous. A lot of this bill is dealing with the mechanics of the election. It has nothing to do with, you know, potential fraud or not.
I mean that was a bad decision. There's no place for that in the Republican Party.
I voted for Kemp when Trump told me not to, and, you know, I`m kind of moving beyond the 2020 stolen election lie.
