I do fear that if we all of a sudden are regulating it, then the average investor feels like there is more security and stability in the value of it, and I think that is a dangerous thing for the investors.
Farmers need assurance that over the next 5 years, a safety net will be in place that can stand the test of changing markets and extreme weather events.
There is no question that food security is national security, and that 12 percent does considerable work in making sure that we have the abundant, affordable food supply that we depend on.
