I have no doubt it is true. Let me get to the point as our time is limited. There is a lot more in operation here than nuclear waste. We are talking, my friends, about an unholy alliance between two of the largest corporate entities in America--the nuclear power industry and the tobacco lobby. Here is how both of them win and the American taxpayer and the kids of America lose. The Democratic leader was absolutely correct when he said we should stay on the tobacco bill until we complete it, just as we have with other issues that are deemed priorities by the leadership in this Chamber. The way to do that is to stay on it, not to get sidetracked on another issue.
