I am amazed at the level of what appears to me--I have only been here for 3 years in Congress--but it appears to be a high level of incompetence, lack of strategy, lack of planning.
Why should I support anything this administration does in the Middle East, Syria, the Middle East, or even in the Ukraine, with the lack of strategy that I see?
How costly is it to have 4 million displaced refugees that have gone around the world?
If we are going to attack them, if we are going to do this, let's do it right and let's get a strategy.
A decade ago, North Korea wanted a nonaggression pact with the United States. We turned them down because we don't do nonaggression pacts, which is perhaps the silliest reason not to do it.
I don't think we should give it to them unless we get something in return, but to dismiss it out of hand seems absurd.
