Ron DeSantis: “We have a responsibility as elected officials to serve the interests of the people who elected us and who pay the bills…”

“if you’re without and you’re FPL, you may get it today, a lot of people will get it today. Others will get it tomorrow.”

“So, somebody, ‘Oh, you shouldn’t have spent money by bringing the guard or doing this. You didn’t need them.’ Well, you don’t know that.”

I think people did take precautions, and I think the local officials did a really good job of helping spread the word.

It’s really odd. You’ll have people get elected to Congress having never shown any investment acumen ever in their life, and then all of a sudden they become Warren Buffett on steroids.
