As of this morning, all state-owned bridges are safe and have been reopened for travel. Crew finished inspecting all the coastal bridges by 0600 this morning.

“So, somebody, ‘Oh, you shouldn’t have spent money by bringing the guard or doing this. You didn’t need them.’ Well, you don’t know that.”

Right now, 93% of traffic signals are operational in storm impacted areas, including 320 that are operating on temporary general generator power.

“I would just urge people to be very careful. There’s a lot of debris out there, particularly as you get into the northern part of the Panhandle.”
