One phone call does not make peace. One phone call does not solve a war as complex as this one.
I think the valid points he's making to Europe is, we are concerned that the true values that we share, the values that bind us together with Europe are things like free speech and democracy.
The point of his speech was basically that there is an erosion in free speech and intolerance or opposing points of view within Europe.
But suffice it to say that if it was up to us, every one of these hostages would be home right now.
I think peace is not a noun. It's a verb. It's an action. You have to take concrete steps towards it.
Iran was “behind every terrorist group, behind every act of violence” and “behind everything that threatens peace and stability.”
