That wasn't supposed to be this way, but that's the path he chose, and I think, frankly, sends his country backwards in regards to achieving peace, which is what President Trump wants at the end of the day.
Russia is governed today by a gangster. He's basically an organized crime figure who controls a government and a large territory. There's no other way to describe Vladimir Putin.
Being a peacemaker is not a bad thing. We should be applauding and supporting @POTUS's efforts to bring about peace.
But the president is crystal clear...he is going to be a president that tries to achieve peace.
The sooner everyone grows up around here and figures out that this is a bad war that’s heading in a bad direction...the more progress we’re going to be able to make.
It was not in Washington's interest for Moscow to be permanently a junior partner to China
