I am not sure what you are going to get advice in unless you are looking to become a totalitarian government because that is the only thing they are good at.

I do not consider an ally of the United States, nor an enemy either.

You do not want to necessarily be in direct and constant conflict with the host government.

Their attitude basically is mind your own business on these issues.

The people of Florida and the people of the United States deserve the finest men and women we can find to occupy these judgeships.

The Senate has few responsibilities more important than providing advice and consent on the President's judicial nominations.

A judge's job is simply to say what the law is without bias, without agenda.

But again, our official policy is we do not recognize the zone and by and large we are going to ignore it?

I mean, this is not--my understanding of the region is that most, if not all, of the countries would like stronger integration with China.

The rules they want are actually much more one-sided, to the benefit of China and to the detriment of their neighbors and perhaps the rest of the world.
