So, folks, between the budget cuts and the abortion restrictions, those of us who live in red States are going to have a hard time finding gynecologists who deliver babies and who take care of them.

I have made a request--actually, myself and a number of members--because this is an appropriations committee, a number of requests to the committee to take a look at some of the falling shortfalls.

Pregnant women in States with abortion bans are nearly three times more likely to die, regardless of their income or their education, during the process of trying to bring that child into the family.

Can the Federal Government do anything to intervene against this craziness, this horrible effort by the State of Florida to basically block teachers from telling the truth.
