I want to commend her not only on behalf of Americans but also on behalf of myself and members of the Congressional Black Caucus for the workshop that she had in her district dealing with affirmative action prior to the Supreme Court hearing and commitment of those universities and individuals that she mentioned and those that went yet unmentioned, their contributions. So we thank her. Mr. Speaker, at this time I can say that this is one of these moments that I am glad that God allowed me to live long enough for this moment to be able to have such a soldier on behalf of fair opportunity, equal treatment for all, someone that had marks on his body on behalf of this country, with many other patriots that are here and that have gone on.
