Thank you, Madam Chairwoman.

We certainly would be looking for the most egregious ones, those that pose a threat to our National security.

According to the Homeland Security Department's numbers, more than 7,300 foreign students have left school early for various reasons but illegally remain in the United States.

I think it is great. It is wonderful. But the thing is we have to get the word out and educate the people. It is so important to save the lives.

Would you please discuss what each of your offices will be doing to ensure the success of this test?

In my opinion, that is unacceptable.

Greater oversight authority of the VA and of the implementation of the GI Bill is seriously needed.

Twenty or more years of service in the reserve forces and eligibility for reserve retired pay should be sufficient qualifying service for full Veteran status under the law.

It is imperative that the VA ensure that no veteran face the grave difficulties that Mr. Scriber did.

Our Nation's veterans have sacrificed so much and we must protect them from those bad actors looking to take advantage of the benefits they have earned and deserve.

Our veterans are being taken advantage of.

We must now prove our dedication to those heroes by treating them in accordance with the values and ideals upon which this great Nation was founded.

Our veterans have shown their devotion to our Nation with their bravery and sacrifice.

The VA has a moral obligation to care for our veterans and their families.

We must do everything in our power to ensure that our veterans have the benefits they rightly deserve.

Enforcement alone will not fix our immigration system. Congress can no longer delay enacting comprehensive immigration reform

The Federal Government appears, at best, indifferent to the concerns of America's job creators

I am pleased that this bill includes legislation I introduced, which authorizes the Metropolitan Medical Response Systems Program.

This bill seeks to address the findings of the WMD Commission's report, 'World at Risk,' and enhance Federal WMD prevention and preparedness efforts.

I am pleased the subcommittees are meeting today to consider the WMD Prevention and Preparedness Act of 2011 authored by the representative, of course, from New Jersey, Mr. Pascrell, and Chairman King.

Unless FEMA comes up with a way to generate such goodwill or comes up with a way to help generate such financial incentives, I believe that program will continue to languish and nothing will come of it.

I do believe the Coast Guard has heard that, they are engaging with the smaller communities.

There was not an ability for the locals to be able to control the assets.

It is to save lives.

We will continue to work together for the best interests of our country.
