Yanidsi is the daughter of two self-driven entrepreneurs and a first- generation college student. She is also the wife of a loving and supportive Ponceno, someone from Ponce, and a devoted foster and adoptive mother. Yanidsi has been a leading advocate for Hispanic grassroots organizations and pro-Latino legislation at the local and statewide level. Her public service and nonprofit career spans more than a decade. Yanidsi's leadership and community expertise, developed from doing work on the ground through community organizing, capacity-building, and advocacy work, has helped improve our way of life.
