In conclusion, let me just say I think we have a fundamental difference between what the gentlewoman is trying to do and what the gentleman from Missouri [Mr. Hancock] is trying to do. Mr. Chairman, I rise in support of the Hancock amendment to prevent parents from being forced to subsidize the teaching of values that run directly counter to those they strive to teach their children, and against the Unsoeld amendment, which would attempt to distort the intentions of what the gentleman from Missouri [Mr. Hancock] is trying to do. He is simply trying to say, ``Let us not subsidize the distribution of material,'' not only like what I have in my hand, but obviously some of the material over there which is really destructive.
