I`m running for governor on a positive message, that we have a Florida that is for all, all people, no matter where you`re from, no matter what the color of your skin, no matter what your sexual persuasion, no matter what your religion.

I think we need to defeat Ron DeSantis. I think we need to have a governor in Florida like we have a president of the United States now in Joe Biden, a man who has compassion, who really cares about people.

This is a guy who is clearly running for president, wants to be the Republican nominee in 2024 and he appealed to that audience exclusively this morning.

I think it`s both. It is definitely anti-democracy, and it`s definitely a fear that they have of being able to get black and brown voters to vote for them.
