Human activity is drastically changing our world's climate, and not for the better, and we will have to use data and analysis to adapt agricultural practices and protect workers.
Only stiffer enforcement and stringent penalties will help incentivize companies to properly safeguard consumer information.
But if we are going to do anything meaningful, Congress must have the political will to hold these corporations accountable.
I strongly believe that without such rigorous data security rules in place, the next massive data breach is right around the corner.
The only person or institution that can stand up against state actors is the National Security Agency.
