The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To modify a provision relating to high-priority research and extension initiatives) On page 805, strike lines 18 through 22 and insert the following: (43), (47), (48), (51), and (52); (B) by redesignating paragraphs (6), (9), (10), (40), (44), (45), (46), (49), and (50) as paragraphs (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), and (9), respectively; and (C) by adding at the end the following: ``(10) Corn, soybean meal, cereal grains, and grain byproducts research and extension.--Research and extension grants may be made under this section for the purpose of carrying out or enhancing research to improve the digestibility, nutritional value, and efficiency of use of corn, soybean meal, cereal grains, and grain byproducts for the poultry and food animal production industries.''; The PRESIDING OFFICER.
