May I say as strongly as I can, Mr. Chairman, that it is not the intent of the committee to allow the corps to move ahead with the plan for the demolition of the St. Georges Bridge. In the bill we are considering today, there are no funds, I repeat, no funds for the demolition of the bridge nor any report language directing the Army Corps to demolish the St. Georges Bridge.
