It is very simple. It just calls on local governments and States and the Federal Government to keep statistics on the number of infants abandoned in public places each year. We have heard a lot of stories as to why that should happen. It should happen. I would encourage everybody in the House of Representatives to not only support this legislation today but to make sure it is carried out in their home districts as well.
