I am personally furious over the allegations that Russia seems to have further endangered our men and women in uniform.

The 'Never Contracting with the Enemy' provision has been very helpful to protect U.S. and coalition forces.

The presence of women in the security forces will also send a clear message to the Afghan people that their government is committed to equal rights and opportunities for all of its citizens.

Afghan women that serve as police and soldiers provide tremendous value to the enduring and sustainable security of Afghanistan.
