John Carney: “Thank you very much, Congressman Meehan. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to join you...”

I take my job as Commander-in-Chief of the Delaware National Guard extremely seriously.

Let me end by thanking both of you for your leadership for our great State. You, Senator Carper, for being a mentor, for your leadership of this committee, and for this piece of legislation that will help us as we attempt to implement…

I go back in my district and I have meetings with employees. Every time I meet with an employer, I want to meet with the employees.

When I took the oath of office to become Delaware's 74th Governor, I pledged not only to uphold our constitution, but to, and I quote, respect the right of future generations to share the rich historic and natural heritage of our State.
