“I say ``the war in Iraq'' because there is still a war in Iraq. I returned from Baghdad on Tuesday with two of my distinguished Republican colleagues--Senators Lugar and Hagel. I came away with several impressions that I want to pass on to my colleagues in the hope that it will give some additional information or insight. My impressions, although not stated in the same way by my two colleagues, Senators Hagel and Lugar, I am confident are the same ones they had because we did a number of press conferences and we talked at length.
