“I came over from my committee meeting for two reasons. One is to compliment the chairman, the Senator from South Carolina. But equally important to us is rail security. My friend, the Presiding Officer, a former Governor, knows about security, what the CIA indicated. I can publicly indicate it. They indicated the most likely target is going to be rail. Since 9/11, my friend from South Carolina passed out very significant rail security legislation--$1.2 billion.”
