For so many years the Republic of Georgia has been a bright spot in the former Soviet Union.

When the U.S. leads other countries follow, and we see now, thanks to our efforts and thanks to Bill Browder's efforts, a dozen countries--two dozen countries have now passed Magnitsky type sanctions.

I believe that allowing any companies in China to purchase these products presents a serious risk to our national security and economic leadership.

Amazingly, this law is modeled after a Russian law, and considering what Russia has done to Georgia, that is unbelievable.
