Amazingly, this law is modeled after a Russian law, and considering what Russia has done to Georgia, that is unbelievable.
We just moved out of the Appropriations Committee with a very strong bipartisan vote this year's State and Foreign Operations.
Since then, our confidence and our view, at least mine, and I think, having conversations with Senator Shaheen, have been disappointed.
