I will be interested in hearing now from you what you will do to support efforts for Chad's transition to democracy.

Ultimately, it is up to the Kenyans to deliver these elections in a free and fair way, in a way that that is accepted by the people.

But then I also believe sometimes they have a perverse effect.

I think we need to do everything we can to support those elections because everyone is watching.
