David Shulkin: “We have to rethink our effort.”

It is my hope we can work together to ensure talented medical professional remain in the VA to deliver quality care to our veterans.

There is no pressure to privatize. There is pressure to fix the system.

We are following the Federal contracting rules and regulations, and we are trying to do this as quickly as we can.

I do believe that our unions are productive partners with us, and I do really appreciate the collaboration that we have because I believe that they care about getting the right services to Veterans.
