I support this proposal as a short-term solution to help put money back in the pockets of farmers until prices increase.

I hope, again, with your leadership and this Committee's long record of support and commitment to dairy farmers that we are going to see that type of action and that type of help for a critical part of the American economy.

This is a crisis that affects all of us, not just our dairy farmers.

We have to find what is common in the interest of these farmers in its price stability.

I have introduced legislation, the Every Student Counts Act, to address the dropout crisis that hasn't been fixed under the No Child Left Behind model.

That just takes my breath away, because I mean a lot of police departments, frankly, are not equipped to handle this type of investigation.

It has to be accurate information. You know, if that delays the message a little bit I think it is better to delay the message and get it right, rather than to push it out and then have to rescind it, because that just confuses parents.
