Time and time again, when we give weapons to people that we think are on our side, they end up getting into the hands of people that we are, in fact, doing battle with.

I really worry that this sort of pulls apart one of the discussions that tended to be fairly nonpartisan here.

The perception of the United States today abroad is deeply clouded by the President's perceived antipathy towards immigrants to the United States, and I would argue it is not perceived. It is real.
