“Of course, times have changed and exactly that. First of all, we are talking about a $73 billion maybe $140 billion farm bill. There is a big difference there. It could go to $140 billion. That was not in the budget resolution. And so to say that I have voted for the latter as opposed to the former is inaccurate, and I would also suggest that the gentleman is absolutely correct. If one can get the required number of votes in the House, one can pass anything. And I guarantee you, we have done it year after year, time after time. And it is the way, I understand entirely, it is the way the process is run. But I suggest that it should be perhaps incumbent upon all of us as we approach all of these bills coming up, the supplemental, I do not know, I think this week sometime, and a variety of other spending bills, I will watch for the Democrat and the Cornflower Blue Democrats to see how they vote because I will be voting 'no' on all of them because I believe we should stick inside the budget.”
