I do not see Mr. Andrews, who was coauthor. Therefore, I will simply say that I would hope that we invalidate these nonsensical guidelines, allow our government to communicate directly with Taiwan's democratically elected government the same way we communicate with other friendly governments. I ask for an ``aye'' vote.
