SENSE OF CONGRESS EXPRESSING DISAPPROVAL OF THE DENIAL OF JORDAN COVE PERMITS. (a) Findings.--Congress finds the following: (1) On March 19, 2020, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission granted two Federal permits to Jordan Cove Energy Project, L.P., to site, construct, and operate a new liquefied natural gas export terminal in Coos County, Oregon. (2) On the same day, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued a certificate of public convenience and necessity to Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline, L.P., to construct and operate the proposed Pacific Connector Pipeline in the counties of Klamath, Jackson, Douglas, and Coos of Oregon. (3) The State of Oregon denied the permits and the certificate necessary for these projects. (b) Sense of Congress.--It is the sense of Congress that Congress disapproves of the denial of these permits by the State of Oregon. The Acting CHAIR.
