The federal government is no longer a trusted partner in democracy.

In 2020, civil servants and elected officials rejected the lies coming out of the White House to make sure that Americans could vote safely and securely during a pandemic and with a sitting president trying to seize the presidency.

This is another thinly-veiled attempt by the Department of Justice to intimidate election officials and coerce compliance with their efforts to unlawfully inject the federal government into States’ constitutional duty to oversee elections.

I think it's the right thing for elected officials to follow the law and uphold the Constitution.
