This is another thinly-veiled attempt by the Department of Justice to intimidate election officials and coerce compliance with their efforts to unlawfully inject the federal government into States’ constitutional duty to oversee elections.

During my time as Secretary of State, I set the legal direction of my department through some serious election and democracy issues.

Trump and his DOJ have no right to Coloradans’ sensitive voter information, and we hope the District Court’s decision is upheld.

The DOJ has lost every lawsuit and appeal they have filed in their attempts to access sensitive voter information from the states.
