We do not serve the American people unless we reduce institutional barriers, whether we recognize them, and whether we tap into the full talent of our nation.

We need to have an honest conversation here about the value of diversity, about the barriers that exist for vast swaths of our country.

It shouldn't matter what you look like... But in the United States of America, too often it does.

I couldn't agree more with that effort and give Mr. Waltz a lot of credit for helping lead that and open the aperture, if you will, for women and peace and security.

I will give a lot of credit to my friend, Mr. Waltz, who actually is a founding co-chair of the Women, Peace, and Security Caucus in Congress.

Vladimir Putin has made a big mistake, though. He has underestimated the will of the Ukrainian people.

The answer must be we won't allow him to get away with any of it.

These are war crimes. They are genocide. I join my colleagues in calling it what it is.

There must be stronger requirements to address the noise, environment, health, and safety issues impacting those underneath flight paths.

It is time for the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to make meaningful changes to the FAA's authorizing statute that require greater protection for the health and safety of families in my district and around the country

The FAA has been entrusted with ensuring aviation safety, which is a serious concern for residents in my district who live below the flightpath.

I and members of the Congressional Quiet Skies Caucus have repeatedly made requests for changes at the FAA.

It is time for the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to make meaningful changes to the FAA's authorizing statute.

I proudly represent Colorado's Sixth Congressional District, and I am one of several Members of Congress who are a part of the Quiet Skies Caucus.

In this subcommittee, we have a responsibility to examine critical issues of U.S. foreign policy and national security.

They need more aircraft. They need more advanced aircrafts. That's why we've been pressing the administration on a bipartisan basis to help them advance their air force, to give them what they need to fight and win.

This is not over. This is not a history lesson. This is not a exercise in reviewing historical facts about our country. This is going on.

We certainly weren't ready and nobody in a million years ever thought we would be in that position.

But we know they are wrong.

The answer to this problem is there are more guns. There`s just no reality in there, there`s no policy, no evidence that supports that at all.

There are common sense policies we can pass that will change things.

We have created this societal trauma for our young children.

This is the America that we built and it`s not ok.

We know that when we passed the assault weapons ban, that was in the books for a decade, that the use of those firearms went down 30 percent.

They know that the type of weapon matters. They know that the tool that these (INAUDIBLE) are using matters a lot, ok.
