Mr. Chairman, I ask unanimous consent for 30 seconds to follow up on that question.

This is probably one of the most venerable and important committees in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Mr. Chairman, I just want to congratulate you on your first hearing, and I want to congratulate all of the members for the comity that we have shown.
We have been working quite closely together ever since his appointment on issues that are facing this committee.
Yes, but it didn't say that individuals up to the age of 26--maybe that this a good question for you, Mr. Rothstein. It didn't say individuals up to an age of 26 were still considered legally dependents of their parents because they are…
I think we ought to put our partisanship aside. The election is over. Figure out a clear law for the Federal Government to be able to act because, because with all due respect, this is not a State issue if a drug is being shipped around in…
There is a lack of clarity in the law and what that means is that evil-doers like this compounding pharmacy, don't feel like they have to listen to the FDA.
But here is the problem, Mr. Griffith, and this is what Commissioner Hamburg is trying to say.
So what has happened over all of these years is these drug compounders have started these great big manufacturing facilities.
And if we can't prevent this kind of a thing, then shame on us, because this is a company that had black specks floating in the vials.
Joyce Lovelace's husband Eddie was the first one who was found to have died of fungal meningitis from one of your company's products.
Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman. And I do appreciate your taking the time to have this hearing on the very day that we return from the recess because this is such an important public health issue, and we are acting in a bipartisan way.
I know I can speak for the entire side of my aisle in wishing you God speed and all success in whatever you decide to do in the future, Mr. Chairman.
We have always had respectful discourse, and we have always had debates and investigations that have attempted to shed the light on things.
I really want to thank you for having this hearing today on LightSquared and expanding access to broadband, which we all agree is a key driver of economic growth for our Nation.
It would curtail the Secretary's authority to... reduce the safety and security requirements.
H.R. 4310 also changes NNSA's relationship with oversight bodies, including DOE's Office of Health, Safety, and Security.
Strong oversight of our nuclear arsenal and our nuclear facilities and laboratories is an absolute necessity.
We have to make sure that those who manage nuclear materials are putting safety and security first.
We cannot leave nuclear facilities exposed to national disasters or threats from hostile enemies.
I want to echo the chairman's remarks about this subcommittee having a long bipartisan history of asking tough questions about the safety and security of our Nation's nuclear facilities.
